Probably, but I have a broken wrist, so I can't dig it out of the stack.

Re: An ambitious 86 200 project
I hit a tree straight-on while on a mountain bike. I broke my left scaphoid in half. I had surgery and have a screw in it now, and a cast.
I wish you had asked when I could lift and move stuff.
Buying a manual is the first thing you should have done.

Re: An ambitious 86 200 project
Ouch. How long is the expected recovery?Wish I'd asked earlier to,never even occurred to me.
I have a Clymer manual but I'd like a Kawasaki manual to.No real rush as this bike seems to be a looooooooong term project at this point.

The Clymer is good, too. I like it, but could not do without the OEM manual.
I am in a cast for a couple of weeks, then some physical therapy. Thanks.

With a sad heart I have to tell you I will not be doing the KDX
It's just to much money we don't have to invest in something I'm not sure I'm going to REALLY like.

Sometimes you just need to know when to walk away. If you could have rode the bike and knew what you were getting into then it would probably be different. But not knowing what your dumping money you will probably never get back out of it in is a tough decision to make.

Part of the problem is I'm not sure about dirt riding,I'm not sure my aging body will take to it.I know I'm not going to get make money on it but we'd like to make at least some back.Guessing parting it out will be the best bet.

Re: An ambitious 86 200 project
Hey GKBO.
Sad to hear you're pulling the plug, especially after putting in so much time, effort and work.
But, if you are parting it out, I'm VERY interested in the ignition system. I think it's my CDI box that's dead, but depending on price, I'd buy the stator, flywheel, CDI and coil.
Let me know,
Thanks
PS - would have PM'ed you, but for some reason I don't seem to be able to.

I thought I'd read that somewhere, so I did just donate some money. Is there a certain amount for getting the PM system?
Thanks
Thanks

Well you've gotta do what you gotta do. You can always get another one later on down the road if you want to.

My 85 Suzuki GS750 has had a total makover.

Needs just a few things to be road ready for the spring.

Re: An ambitious 86 200 project
I bought a GS1100 in 2001. Upgraded the voltage regulator and that motor was a fast runner afterwards. Needed to sell it to buy my house a year later. I still like those bikes.
