That's the plan for me. Once I have the kit I am going to wire the charging system up to the battery. I just have no reason to do so until I get the E start (and I ordered the battery to come with it).Chuck78 wrote: 06:58 am Feb 05 2026 All right, personally, would not even ever set it up as a total loss system if I were to want the electric start kit. From day one I would have that battery charging off of the onboard electrical system, as I always wire up a DC rectifier or regulator-rectifier for higher output LED headlight use for the few odd occasions where you get stuck out for far longer than you plan and the sun sets on you, as well as the intentional night rides which are quite fun... Or even just running from camp at night down to the trailhead restrooms. It came with a somewhat functional headlight, may as well improve upon it and may as well link the E start battery to it also!
