Getting some wiring done. Everything works except the turn signal flasher so I ordered a new one specifically for LEDs hopefully thatll work. Also my horn sounds messed up, idk how it wouldve went bad from sitting on a shelf for months but owell ill test again with a different horn i have laying around. Had to change a few minor things on the wiring diagram but nothing to crazy.

Does your key switch control only the Vapor, but not starting/running? I think Trail Tech recommends unswitched fused power supply to the vapor. The backlight goes out after 10 or 20 minutes of inactivity. That's how mine is wired on the KLX.

I haven't wired the Vapor in at all yet since the only thing i have to wire in is a power/ground. I'm probably gonna do it the way they recommend. Everything else is going to go through the key switch though.

Very cool. I am thinking of upgrading my headlamp to LED as well as a battery to support a navi unit. great project.

Cool, ive converted alot of stuff to LED even on my car and truck. The bikes lo/hi beam is still a regular bulb but the rest of it is LED and a battery is a great idea.

Went LED myself. Stator only makes 40watts so figure the watt savings is worth it. Looks cooler too!

Not to get off track on this mans thread, but may I ask what bulb you used? I can't even find info on the original bulb as to what size it is.

So i got my swingarm installed today which now has new bearings, bushings, kickstand, and chain guard. Also covered and tucked one of the wiring harnesses. Still waiting on my motor unfortunetly, I'm itching to ride lol. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks so hopefully itll be ready to pickup when i get home. Once i get that all thats left to do is shorten the other wiring harness, hook up a few sensors, mount the rear tire, and throw some stickers on her ;)

Sadly couldnt get in touch with the machine shop last week, im in florida for this week :) had to take a break from all the snow lol(visiting my dad). Hopefully ill have it back when i get back next week. Still have to mount my rear tire too, such a pain tho im tempted to just pay the $35 and have it done.

Don't blame ya there. Tires are no fun. I am a tech at a full service auto shop that has all the tire tools and equipment available to me and I still hate them.

Still 1 1/2ft of snow left stay in FL.
