I have seen used tanks for sale on Ebay for early year KDX200's. They all look smaller than the tank I have. The PO of mine stated it had an oversized tank on it but I am scheptical... he was 17yrs old... and only had the bike 2 yrs. On the underside of the tank there is a date stamp of 1989. Can anyone tell if this is a stock tank or maybe a vintage aftermarket version. I could not see any manufacturer identification on the tank itself.

Nice looking E series bike! I always liked the white ones. I don't know if it a shadow or not, but you may have a leaking fork seal on the right side...

yea I have a little TLC to render on this bike. This bike was not ridden alot but maintenance was not real important to the PO's. There are little things done on the bike that tellls me someone with knowledge has worked on this bike at one time.
This winter I am taking the whole bike apart and cleaning/lubing/repairing everything. I don't do it because it is great investment but I have a recently aquired fondness for this one.
