V FORCE 3 HELP!!!

I just got one for my KDX. After reading the directions , I'm all twisted.

Is it a direct bolt on or do I need to modify anything?

Don't mount it upside down. It will fit. And it will run for crap. Check photos of other bikes with the V3 for the orientation of the side label on the reed body.
