Tusk crankshaft intstaller tool
I bought this to use when rebuilding a bottom end recently:

It worked very well, with no damage to the cases. I could have used my press, but would have had to rig up a way to support the cases and yet get around the various shafts and such that would be in the way. This was much simpler. On the YZ, there wasn't a good surface for it to bear against on the clutch side, so I just took some angle iron sections and spanned them across the case, for the tool flange to rest on.
Well made tool for a fair price.

The tool won't work on the right side of the crank, but the crank will drop right in if you sweat it. I just put mine in the freezer for 20 mins and heated the bearing with a blowtorch. The crank dropped right in. Then I used the tool on the left side to rejoin the cases and it worked perfectly.

This tool is really not needed, cases go together really easy without it
