I can relate to a lot of situations in that video

Some are more gnarly than stuff we do

But ****, they have lots of help and ropes and pulleys!!

On our rides it's just me and the Bradster! :supz:

I thought there wasn't enough riding and too much pushing, pulling, dragging, lofting, etc. But I guess that was just the highlights.

It looked A LOT like Idaho riding. CC and I took two days of punishment; first day we were too much in awe of the area to realize we were in danger. Second day we thought we were invincible like the first day, but we soon realized when we would THINK "I need to brake and I need to brake HARD and NOW!!" but were too tired to reach for the lever. Day 3 we took off on our own with tails between legs to get oriented to just where the heck we were. (Translate, we got lost, turned around, back tracked and in general had a blast!)

Wib only called the way you linked to vid stupid. We can only make a verdict on your intelligence once we see you on the trails....

Oh, well once on the trails my stupidy would be instantly confirmed!

My brother and I did 2 "exploration" trips last year with the intention of opening up some new trails. The one in July was especially brutal with 90 degree weather and the 2 of us lifting our KDX's over blowdown countless times. At one point, we were down to shirts off totally drenched in sweat, running low on water and at about the 1/2 way point. The kicker was that when we got to the end of said trail, it was covered with 2 feet of snow!

We decided then that "exploring" new trails was a bit overrated.

BTW, our last trip 3 weeks ago ended early due to my brother breaking his wrist. :sad: He was following me 4th gear wide open over in Oregon desert country and didnt see the large embedded rock I had narrowly missed.
