This may sound stupid, my neighbor had a 200 same year as mine and said his came with one. i've searched and cant't find anything where an '89 did. I have the service manual and can't find anything. Tell me something I don't know. BTW, if you can't tell already, back in the woods after about a 18 year hiatus. (USMC, wife, kids blah blah blah). Thanks.

This is true in the US. Everywhere else in the world (or imported into the US) that has the SR model ('G' series) got a speedo along with all the other street gear.
