i noticed most of you had to use stoppers in order for the fork tubes not to hit anything. I just put mine in, just the upper part and they arent hitting anything i can see, has anyone had the same thing happen or does it hit somewere i am not looking?

I used a mig welder to extend the OEM frame tab - Installed the forks and front wheel, etc and then before installing the light ground the weld on the tab down on each side so the forks would come within 1/8 inch or so of the tank.  Dabbed black paint on the weld and called it good.
