Anyhow I've done that and ended up having to do some clutch work and apparently some more fuel delivery kinda work, so like I said " a basket case 83 kdx250 looking forward to learning how to better navigate the forums and meeting some new folks and hopefully learning a few things about my bike. I actually bought mine and then bought the old lady a 1981 honda xl125s 4 stroke so we could go riding this summer. I paid1200 bucks for hers from some hippy kid that was apparent right away had done no maintenance to it ever. But I basically went over it, cleaned the carb, new plug, air filter and boom hers is running great. Mine has been an adventure lmao

Re: Hello from B.C.
Welcome to the forum! Hope you get your bike going here soon!
I've been on the forum for over a year now and I have not made an introduction, so no worries haha! But maybe I should.
I hope you find all of the help you need here!
