Greetings and Salutations from Washington DC, the crime capital of the universe, if you count the politicians.
What brings me to this site is my trusty Steed a 2000 KDX-200 stocker [my favorite]. I was able to get it tagged, titled, registered and insured in VA, one of many bikes I have in my corral. I have taken it on tracks and trails in: MD, VA, WVA, PA, CO and Utah [Moab my favorite]. This bike has a spiritual connection to me.
I am a 67year-old male rider and have owned many bikes in my day including however not limited to:: Street Bikes: Vintage/Classical Harleys, Triumphs, Yamahas and Hondas as well as a 2007 Ducati 1000 Monster [my second favorite]; Dual Sports: 2004 DRZ-400, XL-650; MX: Yamaha YZ-250, YZ-426F, RM-125.
I spent a few seasons racing in the D class [Novice] MX and Enduro finishing last due to fear and anxiety. I tried some Speedway racing, thinking I would be a good Flat Track racer. Took a class somewhere in New Jersy with the same results.
I have a 77 Triumph Street Tracker left over from that era and the road-rash to prove it. Amazingly I survived all the failures, wreckage, injuries, mayhem and street-fights to make it to this post however I’m not done yet.
My plan is to customize my KDX into a glamor show bike and take it to Daytona Bike Week and Sturgis and show them what a real motorcycle is all about.

Sounds super! I understand the spiritual connection. I had this with my 1985 BMW K100RS, Takamine EA10C guitar, and Freeline Longboard. These three specific items standout among dozens and dozens of motos, guitars, & surf boards. Some of my other motos, guitars, & surf boards jelled alright with me. Some never ever did. But, the 3 mentioned ones were like magic.
