Hi all, it’s thought that less than 50 bikes of each model year 250, were brought to Britain. So I am over the moon to have recently found one. The bike has been dry stored since circa 1992.
I need various parts for it, plus I am going to be using it on the trails as an adventure bike. So I will be adding throw over panniers, auxiliary lights, fuel container, tool box etc.
Any one have any ideas on prepping the bike ?

Oh wow! Congratulations!
My first concern would be all the rubber parts. I would also wonder about the condition of the big end bearing. 32 years is a long time for oil to protect the parts in the engine from moisture damage.
