Hi, recently I have gone out on some rides which are maybe a little too advanced for me and I lug the bike around in first or second on single track. After a long day it looks like my bike pukes out the exhaust port onto the pipe a bit. To me it's not excessive but I would still like to get it taken care of. I think this happens when I ride it in 2nd for a while and then revi t to 'clear it out' as someone told me to do. The spark plug never fouls and the bike runs great. At least I think that.
I am going to take off the pipe when I get a chance and check the condition of the o rings and metal gasket, but wanted to check here as well for any advice.
Thanks everyone. I will inspect and order parts as needed. Hope the pipe is not bent, not really prepared to deal with that. I always wonder how the pipe stays mounted properly between the top and bottom of rear compression stroke range.
Keep in mind that until you fix your spooge issue, sealing the pipe to the head just means that oil is going to be deposited in the expansion chamber/silencer, so it may look like your problem is solved for a bit, until the pipe starts spitting it out the back (or more frequently out the union between the pipe and silencer).
For now I will be ordering new o rings, copper washer, and springs i guess although they seem good to me, and have added some hi temp permatex over the current orings in the mean time.
I like riding in second, but maybe i'm not at that speed yet and need to run first to stay in the powerband. I may try opening the air screw when putting around like that and see how that goes.

It's not the gear you're in or the air screw. You should go through the jetting guide in these forums. That's a lotta' puke coming out.
Goal was to go through that guide the first time i do a rebuild since that is one of the first instructions. I have the RB Carb and went a size down on pilot clip and main from how it came with the recommended settings from Ron for my mods and elevation.
