This is the 'first one' shown on the site you mention:
The syringe body does not have to fit inside the fork tube...so it will not have a problem with the rod, the piston or anything else in the tube.
Cut the tubing to the measurement point you want. Measure the tubing from the bottom of the syringe. Take into account the curve of the tubing that you will have when you put it IN the fork tube. Obviously the rigid tubing in Phil's pic resolves that problem.
The
point of dogging this issue: There was an obvious error in process stated in the beginning of this thread. I don't see that anyone addressed it. Yeah...it would seem intuitively obvious to the casual observer..but, if it got missed, this post should take care of it.
