Broken collar bone

Broke my collar bone and dislocated my shoulder about 10 weeks ago. I had the surgery 2 days after and was riding 8 weeks later. Didn't really follow the surgeons recommendation of immobilizing it for 4 weeks but things gotta get done.

I broke my collar bone in 3 pieces about 12 years ago. The most pain I have ever had in my life.

Did you break it riding? Shoulder injuries, especially AC separations, are very common with dirt bike riders. I don't know why people don't wear better shoulder protection.

Ya we were doing high speed cornering training, washed out and landed on top of my shoulder. I was wearing a EVS comp suit. Mine was also in three pieces, had very little pain. I took the engine out of the bike 4 days later and was back at work after 3 weeks.
