The purple and green is growing on me

I never cared much for the purple KDX body styling... but it's really starting to grow on me! I did some parts for another customer in this Illusion purple color. I loved it so much, I decided to dress up the ol dual sport:



Thinking more about this... it will probably rub off here in a pretty short period of time... O well. Can always re-do it I guess




Maybe one of these days I'll have the motor together so this has a place to go...


I figured this was a decent little tribute to the older purple styling? I think I need to get purple shrouds, fork covers, and fender bag and I will be good to go! Id really love to powder coat this frame in Kawi green (found a dead on match, dying to use it on something!), but I'd love to ride it a million times more... so maybe next season.

Also, figured I would powder coat my stainless coffee cup with the same theme:

Love that coffee mug!! My purple/green 220 has a good look. But the replacement purple fork boots were crazy priced so went with black. And new seat cover may have to be black. Damn near going to have to change my color pattern just to have nice new parts!

Since my KDX is starting to become less purple and green... and more black and green... I ordered a VERY cool custom black and green Kawasaki coffee mug from Tyl3r here. Thanks so much. I loves me some KDX Bling !!! The metallic green lettering is so razor sharp and perfect. I am amazed how you powder coat guys are able to do that!
