KIPS collars

Post by bultaco4ever »

I just received my BDK steel KIPS valves set. I am wondering if my initial observation is right or wrong. I received 3 collars that appear to all be the same size. 19.9mm. The old collars are the same except the idler gear collar. It is 19.7mm. The new collar doesn't want to fit in the opening for the idler gear. Has anyone else noticed this or is my case unique?

Well, I moved the order of those collars around and found a combo that fit. So, disregard
all this. By the way, the new BDK valves operate perfectly. Can't wait to fire it up and ride it again. I thought it ran great before I knew it had a broken, inoperative left valve.

Yeah. All three collars are the same part number.

KIPS collars

It know this is an older thread, but I'm wondering if you're happy with the replacement valves from BDK. I need to replace my broken LH valve, so I think I'm going to pony up and replace all the KIPS valves. Any input is appreciated
