Got the valves. Shiny!
Now to ship everything off to clean/port/polish/coat/rebuild crank/clearance/measure/match/assemble/warranty.

Nice......my valves still in transit. I received my gasket kit, though.

So...I have put my cylinder, new Kips valves and the head back on the cases and soon I will be reattaching the Kips shaft lever. The manual says to tighten the nut (LH thread) to 75 inch pounds. That's not much. Is a good guess on the torque good enough? Does it need blue Loctite?

i use blue loctite on eveything that can rattle off and become a ride-ender.

Here in No. Illinois we are experiencing record mild temperatures for December. Yesterday was perfect timing for me to test ride by '93 after I finished putting my new stainless steel KIPS valves in. I've only owned this bike for two months and only ridden it when it had one working valve and one broken one. The bike ran good on the old valves. Now it is really a wheelie machine. Much more low end torque. I guess operating Kips valves really do make a difference.
