Side Panel threaded mounts
Im still learning things about my new to me 93 KDX200. My side panel number plates have those threaded mount points on the frame section by the air box. Both sides are stripped out. Should I drill through and put a nut on the bolt or rethread somehow?

Re: Side Panel threaded mounts
If it were me I'd tap them out to a larger size, or drill out and use a helicoil or time sert.

Ive had pretty good luck with helicoil, and I can get them locally. I hear that timesert is much better, but I haven't tried them yet.

Where are these time sert menders available? I see them online but not in ACE hardware, or other typical sources.
