Wide Pegs
Anyone know if pegs from other bikes fit the E series I'm looking for a wider set and aftermarket pegs are a little pricey would prefer cheap used!

Re: Wide Pegs
Yeah, it's the Yamaha pegs. There is a write up in here about it. Try to search YZ footpegs and see if it pops up.

Wide Pegs
There are pretty decent ones from China on ebay for $20...drawback is they take a long time to arrive and require a little modification with an angle grinder to slim them down on the sides where they mount.

Wide Pegs
Those look nice, they seem to be the same as what I have on my daily rider 4-stroke (a Chinese bike). Do those sit higher than the stock pegs?Gotanubike wrote:There are pretty decent ones from China on ebay for $20...drawback is they take a long time to arrive and require a little modification with an angle grinder to slim them down on the sides where they mount.

Re: Wide Pegs
My 89 is fitted with standard KTM pegs from a 250 excf 2007. they sit very slightly forward but are a far better thing than the originals. With a tiny blob of weld on either the back of the pegs or the frame mount they would be perfect but it has never bothered me in the past 4 years of riding with them.
No modifications at all to fit and try tem out.

Re: Wide Pegs
The pegs on my 89 came from a 93 yz250, I believe. I like 'em pretty good. ^^^ Those look much nicer, though!
