another carb question.

Post by tannaj2 »

I have a 1991 kdx 200 and I am still in the learning process but i assume from some of the reading its a pwk35mm stock carb. I found something similar and would like your opinions on how it would work.

Thanks for your input.

Airstrikers are a popular mod. I do believe RBDesigns sells them for about the same $. Can I recommend that you go through him, since he is a site supporter?

I do not think it is the same. You can find a used one for much cheaper. Is OEM canceled?

Yes all the places I went where canceled. I did play around on bike bandit and for the 1988 and 1991 boot was the same item number. I did find one but it was cracking around the rubber pretty bad. The pet cock on and off is another item that they no longer sale, however bike bandit shows them on back order.

Please make sure you are looking at the full 9-digit part number and not just the reference number. The part number is for 1989 - 1994 KDX200 and yes, it is canceled. (DAMN!)

Just look on eBay for a new old stock part or a used one. There are lots of 1989 - 1994 KDX200's being parted out.
