alright so I'm at this point, but I can't loosen the nut without the entire basket rotating, is their something else I should be doing?

You can either jam a piece of soft metal (copper, aluminum, penny) between the crank gear and the clutch gear to loosen the hub nut. Or you can put the bike in 6th gear, lock the rear tire and then loosen the hub nut.

Can I remove both casings before having to remove the hub nut?

If you lock the rear tire you don't need to remove the other/larger cover.

Alright haha the good and the bad, got it all together and it ran like a charm. Goes through all the gears nicely, then after some riding today it started squealing. The squealing goes away when the clutch is pulled and is only really noticeable in lower gears, especially neutral. Could this but a clutch issue? I wouldn't think so because when the clutch is pulled it goes away

Its semi senthetic 10w-40

When you said squealing, the sound of a slipping engine belt comes to mind. I was thinking that if the clutch frictions were contaminated with the wrong type of oil, they might make some noise. That would explain why it would go away when you pull in the clutch.

I'll change the oil tomorrow, go by the Kawasaki dealer and get the right oil. Is the squealing something that can be lived with? Or do I need to replace something else now?

Before you drain it and replace it, I would have someone else check out that oil to see if it could cause problems. The description says it is for wet clutches.

What I would do is pull apart the clutch and check the steel drive plates to see if they have been over-heated or have glazing.

I don't want to start an oil discussion, but look into ATF type F for your transmission. I've been using it for years. Many others use it as well. Fairly cheap and you can get it just about anywhere.

What did you do to make it go away?

The issue was that it was running low on transmission oil, I bought more today and put it in. I put the bike on a stand and spun the back tire. The sound had gone away in 1st but was still clearly present in neutral, so I started it up after a few kicks and drove it down the road andddd no more sound even in neutral.
