Difference between '89 and '90-'94 rear fenders?

Apparently the '89 uses a different rear fender than the '90-'94.
The part number for the '89 is 35022-1248-6W and the '90-'94 is 35022-1258-6W.
Does anyone know what the difference here is? I can't tell anything from looking at pictures or parts fiches. I need a new fender for my '89 but I can't find one. I might be able to get one from a '92 but I'd like to know for sure if it will fit before I buy it.
The UFO replacement rear fender is listed for only '90-'94 as well.

Not sure on the fender but the side panels list like that from one company too...far as I know those are identical. I would bet the fender would work with minor fitting work.

I had an 89 and a 93 at the same time. they were the same for sure. maybe the tail light is slightly different or something...never tried swapping them.
