Re: Street bikes?
I had a '74 RD250 along with '73 and '74 RD350's. Such fun little bikes! I really miss them and hate myself for selling my last one when I moved to AZ.diymirage wrote:i used to own a 75 RD 250...still kicking myself for selling that one but i didnt have my endrosement at the time
Fun bikes as well. I was actually looking for an FZR600 when I bought my Ninja. Just couldn't find a clean, non-abused one around here.diymirage wrote:every time i go to visit my parents for a few weeks i snatch up my sisters bike, a mid 90s FZR 600

My latest project, 1992 GSX-R600...not many of these turned out, they only made them in 92-93 then dropped the 600 until 97.

Re: Street bikes?
Nice bikes guys! My first street bike was an '85 FZ600 that my sister gave me back in like 1990. It only took me a few weeks to realize I was too young and stupid for it and traded it for an '89 YZ250wr. Stuck to dirt bikes and dual sports until I got my Guzzi last year. This was my street bike from the mid '90s through the 2000's.diymirage wrote:every time i go to visit my parents for a few weeks i snatch up my sisters bike, a mid 90s FZR 600

Re: Street bikes?
I have an old CB750 Four. Needs a lot of work to be road worthy, but it's a fun bike that will outrun it's suspension in about 4 seconds flat. A buddy of mine has an RD350 that I have been trying to get for a few years now. It just sits in his garage. I NEED a 2 stroke street bike. I have my old 73 F11 that I am trying to source parts for, been a long painful process.

Re: Street bikes?
Brother had an RD400, still mad he sold it. Kawasaki is still churning out a little 2 stroke Ninja, complete with fairings, overseas, just can't get one into the country.

My lottery pic... while I love my Kaw's, IMO, the ultimate street 2t is the RZ500. Nothing says speed like a V4 500cc two stroke!

Street bikes?Yeah I got street bikes:

This is my 85 Suzuki GS750EF. See the links in my sig for it's story.Under going a colour change.
Have a 78 GS1000 project on the go to to:

Body work mock up.

It's been painted, just needs to be pin striped and cleared.

The chassis is closer to being done to,the wires where loaners so I could have a roller. These are the wheels I'm using.
