fork spring replacement

I am new to the kdx 220r 2005 I have been out of dirt bikes 30+ years . changing springs on '70's "80's euro bikes was really eazy. I want to change the stock fork springs is it a pain in the ass ???

Nope, don't even have to take the forks off...15 minute job
