Anyone had luck finding these at a Tractor supply or Rural King etc?
All parts list says is 39mm but not thickness.......yeah I know the easy way woould be to pull em out and go match them up,but then I wouldnt get to make another post
If you do find one that fits, try to find out what type of elsatomer it's made of.
O rings are typically available in the following elastomers:
Viton (Flurocarbon Rubber) is good for 400 degrees F.
EP (Ethylene Propylene) is good for 300 degrees F, but is not compatable with petrolium oils.
Buna (Nitrile) is only good for 250 degrees F.
Neoprene is good for 300 degrees F and has limited resistance to petrolium oils.
Both Buna and Viton are recommended for use with petrolium oils.
Most O rings stocked at my local Ace Hardware are Neoprene. I usually get Viton and EP O rings from my local bearing distributor.
