Beefing up Stator?

I'm looking to beef up my stator on my kdx 200. I am looking to eventually put some heated grips and upgrade to a higher wattage headlight.

What do I need to do this? Can I just buy a new source coil and replace the stock one with one from Ricky Stator? Do I have to buy the assembly?

You don't need to worry about the source coil, it's fine. You will run your accessories from the lighting coil. You can re-wind yours, send it to ricky stator to be re-wound, or buy one from steahlyoffroad.com.

i bought a steahly one, it works really good for me. i'm still using the stock headlight, and it makes it much brighter. i've ridden my local trail at night and was pleased.

how much wattage do heated grips use?
