If you take a 1/4" bolt a few inches long and attach the threaded end to your slid hammer some how ( weld it to a nut or if you have an adapter to thread it into ) then grind down the hex head leaving a lip on about half of it until it will fit in the hole You will need to also relieve some of the bolt diameter to let the lip to clear the bearing. You can catch the edge of the bolt on the edge of the bearing and pop it out. Or you can buy the $200 kit that is made to do it, but the one that I had didn't have a puller tip that would fit so that may not work.
I don't have the "tool" that I made at my house but I can get it if you need a picture.
there's only about a mm or less of space behind the bearing
The inner bearing for the water pump shaft is 6mm, I'd like to get it too
spose you could tack weld something to the bearing and get it with a slide hammer. But I have neither a welder nor a slide hammer

Drill a hole from the out side of the case and drive it out with a punch! Then it will be easier next time also! You could plug the hole with some JB weld or something.

Heated the case around the bearing and shot it with some canned air and then slammed it down on a wooden bench, popped right out!

Next time take and pack that hole flush with grease and find a bolt or round stock that fits tight inside the bearing and hit it with a hammer. Refill with grease after each hit. Two or three times and it's out.
All your doing is pressing the bearing out using the grease.
Used to do the same thing with pilot bearings and bushings.
