New 35mm airstrijer carb
Received my new carb yesterday. I noticed that the top of carb doesn't have the elbow like the oem carb does. Will that make much of a difference when installing the throttle cable?

Yes, the KDX frame is directly above the carb, that elbow is needed usually to clear that. Should be able to swap it from your stock carb.

Re: New 35mm airstrijer carb
I'm setting the new carb up today. I have a 155 main, 42 pilot, cek needle clip in the middle. Set float to 18mm. Bike is a 2000 kdx200 with woods pipe and power core silencer. Boyesen Rad valve Reed block. Im at100feet above sea level. I feel that is a good starting point. Oh, and the air screw is 1.25 out. The reason for getting the Airstriker was the oem carb was always rich even after the jet block gasket change. I had it setup with a 155 main, 45 pilot stock needle clip in middle and air screw out 2. Bike was spooge all down the can dripping on my new black rim! I hope this takes care of most of the spooge, if then it may be time for crank seals and bearings.
