Also in other awesome news, Hyde Racing has 17 of their skid plates / pipe guard combos back in stock, and one just arrived to me last week!
I was a bit sad to see that it wouldn't really fit with the Gnarly Woods pipe (Gnarly Woods is longer and more flat across the bottom, making more of a sharp bend where it curves up on the right side of the bike from the bottom), but I realized the standard Hyde Racing skid plate fits (installs) BETTER
with the Gnarly Woods vs the Gnarly Desert Pipe! Installing that lower front exhaust mount that slides through a hole in the skid plate is a pain on the Desert Pipe+ Hyde standard skid plate.
The Pipe Guard Skid Plate combo doesn't have to deal with that front mount because the skid plate extends to the front of the pipe without the mount having to go through it.

I stumbled on this picture of a Hard Enduro racer's H-series with the Pro Circuit Platinum 2 pipe AND the Hyde Racing Skid Plate Pipe Guard Combo, which is advertised as exclusively only fitting the FMF gnarly desert pipe. Well it looks like it fits the pro circuit pipe good enough for my tastes, and I might be able to heat it up and clamp it to get it to conform perfectly in the middle section where it stands off of the pro circuit pipe slightly.

I think I'm going to make a frame standoff brace for use in conjunction with this pipe guard and pro circuit pipe so I don't ever bend a pipe again. They get so bent up more than they get dented, I use the clamp on pipe guards from Tusk or Polisport. I really like the Polisport Armadillo but neither of them keeps from bending the pipe, they only prevent most dents & dings
