Engine bearings third party

Hey everyone,
since i am in progress of installing a new rod on my crankshaft, i want to replace every bearing in the engine... the oem-Kawasaki bearings are so expensive. Probably there are even higher quality bearings for less money out there. Do you have some hints how to find the right ones (besides looking for the fitting and the right dimensions) ?

The Kawasaki bearings are easy to find and worth the cost IMO/IME. That said, if you pull the old one you can take it to a good bearing supplier and have them look up if there is others available.

I would go with factory bearings. Years ago, I rebuilt a Slowzuki RM 125 with after-market bearings. Everything was fine except the crank bearing were just a hair thicker. The cases did not go together all the way. Had to tear it down & put in factory crank bearings.

I went oem for mine since here in Canada they were around the same price and even some were cheaper at Kawasaki. The bearing are NTN brand. For example, the crank bearings are NTN 6305. With these numbers you can easily find equivalent in other known brands. The only bearing I could not have from Kawasaki is the shift drum bearing. It is a NTN 6905-RS.
