I just bought a 1995 kdx it hasn't had a easy life from the looks but it was the right price and I'm always challenging myself. Anyway as I was saying the case clutch bracket is broken off at the top. Anyone else have this. If so did you fix it and how did you do it. Thanks for letting me join your group

Which part is broken? Where the cable stop is? If so you may be able to have somone weld a new bracket on, would take a bit of fabricating. Easiest answer is find a replacement case, theres one on Ebay for 99, another for 179. New will run around 250 if you can find one.

Welcome to kdxrider.net.

If it is the part I am thinking:

TIG weld to repair or new/used crankcase halves to replace

Suzuki quad racers had a similar problem. I don’t know what the side cover looks like but possibly a bracket like this maybe an option?

Somewhere in NC and it was cheap, $15-20 I think. Send him a PM.

I used Bernz-O-Matic aluminum brazing rod to braze my piece back on and it worked like a hot damn. Hit the case part with the soda blaster after and it’s like it was never broken.
