Any Massachusetts Riders?

Post by KDXQuincy »

Looking for good places to ride and maybe some people to ride with. Anyone know of any good trails. I'm from Quincy and have pretty much only ridden Franklin, Foxboro, and Wrentham.

I'm from RI. Don't think I've seen many local people on here!

I'm from RI and am stickered for Mass. I ride Wrentham and Franklin, and am supposed to be going to Hodges Village Dam for the first time this Saturday.

I just looked into Hodges Village Dam. Please let me know how the riding is. I'm just getting back into riding after 15 years off so I'm looking for some easy trails to get my feet wet.

I'm up here on the north shore. I have a couple good single track places to ride that are a blast. It's getting extremely hard to find places to ride in M.A. as people call the cops all the time. In M.A. dirt bike riders are treated like criminals and murderers.

Yeah all the places I used to ride as a kid are gated and posted. You've got some legal places to ride on the north shore? Or just places you don't get bothered? If you can share please do.

I ride and don't get bothered once in the woods. I think finding a parking spot to unload is the biggest challenge. I ride some trails in middleton and also some some places in southern N.H.

I suggest joining a local club and/or NETRA then you'll be in the loop on lots of opportunities to ride legally!

In case you haven't read about it since original post:
If you like woods riding and don't mind a little drive, Hopkinton-Everett in Dunbarton, NH is FUN! Its about an hour from Boston. 100% legal and dirt bikes are welcome. Need a NH sticker though, which is maybe $70, but its basically a season pass. Doesn't open up till late May after Mud season.
I've been to Hodges, Hop-Ev much better IMO.

Southcoast here. Freetown is good to ride in. Pretty much the only legal spot.
