Hey guys,
I'm thinking of doing the unthinkable and traveling on my KDX. What gear ratio would you recommend for top speed yet still having the power available for riding up steep roads, sometimes at altitude?

I wouldn't run anything much higher than 13/45 for gearing , You should have an aftermarket pipe at that .
