I wonder why we can't get the NOW 110 link x-ring RK on my brother's bike?!?!

I cut it after reading some threads on here BUT before I eyeballed it on the bike.

Nope, It's been counted by 3 different people and comes up about 1 link short.

Every pair of sideplates – both inner plates and outer plates – counts as one link when determining chain length. If your bike is supposed to have a 110-link chain, count every single inner and outer plate on one side of the chain until you reach 110.

Chains will always have an even number of links. If your uninstalled chain has inner plates on both ends, or outer plates on both ends, you’ve miscounted.

I bought a 112 and took off 2 links. Did that take it down to a 109? The darn chain's at my dad's along w/ my brother's bike, but I need to see what's up w/ that?

Me thinks taking two whole links off actually took it to a 109.

Obviously the joining link counts as a link so your chain after you cut it would have 109 links?

OK I didn't look at the dates .

All I know is I have 13 and 50 now and my chain arrives shortly.
