Metal flakes in oil
Does a few metal flakes in oil hurt anything?

Most likely they are fine. Since you’ve already ridden it and it apparently seems fine, I’d go ride some more and not worry about it.

^ Same here, steel bearings and gears vs aluminum particles. I'd ride it also while monitoring the oil for shavings. Just for piece of mind.

Check it again soon. I would be worried that they are bronze flakes from bushings.

+1 The tranny has a bunch of bushed gears/forks that really like to be lubricated. IIWM I'd flush the bottom end real good, then go ride and check it again. Could have been initial wear from being underlubricated.
