I hope that's it. Good job on sticking with it. My KDX was running hot a couple years ago and a new cap fixed it right up.

Welcome and honestly there is never a stupid question, under the index heading you are in (eg: you posted in KDX General Q&A), at the top left of the index screen, "New Topic" in red letters..

Wanted to give a final update on this here situation. Finally got my backordered cap and then a chance to put some mile on the 200. Went out with the family yesterday and was able to run a 12 mile loop pretty hard with my boys. After all was said and done we did about 3.5 loops and I'm happy to say there were no overheating issues or fluid loss after cooling back down. It appears as though the problem is solved. On a side note, the Rekluse definitely made me lazy. Going to take a little time to get use to always covering the clutch again.

Just my $.02, but now that you have the coolant question resolved, why not throw the autoclutch back in? You will really like it in the right stuff.
