need some help pls not sure where locating pin go

hi i did a oil change and saw a pin called locaitn pin not sure where that little pin go anybody can help me ??

Did you remove the side cover to change your oil?

The locating pins are located in several locations in the outer case and inner clutch covers. Only way to know where it goes is to take it back apart.

If the pin came out when you opened the oil drain plug on the bottom of the motor then you have bigger problems, and it is likely not a locating pin but the lower portion of your KIPS actuator.

How did you lose the key on an oil change? That's a pretty aggressive maintenance plan lol

i traded it for yamaha blaster lmao but what i dont get is my cylinder is trash but hold 150 psi also bought me a sleeve

He is saying he found the water pump pin. He didn't have the woodruff key missing.

Are you certain it is not a portion of the pin on the KIPS advancer lever? They usually break off when improper technique is used on removing the lever and left hand threaded nut.
