91 kdx 250 fork seals
Im trying to change the fork seals in my kdx i can't find tool i need to hold cartridge while you break loose the allen head at the bottom. Can anyone tell me were i can find one or another way of doing it?

Try an air gun to spin them apart.

Ya im sure the air impact will work getting them apart but torquing them back down is the problem

You can put them back in with the impact too as long as you start the threads by hand

You don't need to take it out to change just the seals. Only if you are going to take the shim stacks apart to clean. Just to do the seals just take off top cap, take dampening rod off of the cap, remove dust seal, remove clip on top of seal, grab the two half's and pull them apart. Then change seals.
