Hi all,
I am having a strange issue with my sons new to us RM 125 (1998), I adjusted the float level all works fine for 1/2 hour then fuel just starts flowing out the overflow, any thoughts?
Thanks
Alan

RM 125 Float level issue
Could be the float is cracked and filling up with gas?

Re: RM 125 Float level issue
Float valve could be the winner, have ordered a new 1, didn't seem to have any petrol in the float, as it did it once straight after I re jetted the carb, the second time as mentioned was after 1/2 hour or so of re setting the float level. Thanks for the input, I will post with the results after changing the float valve.

Re: RM 125 Float level issue
Ok so new float jet in, still poured out petrol, Suzuki dealer checked float, float level and new float jet all OK, they lowered float level, I put it back on bike it still floods, I lower float level again, start it 3 times no flooding, take it for a ride the next morning no flooding after 4 laps then stopping, did this another 2 times all OK, then after another 2 laps I stop to let my son have a ride and it starts flooding petrol out the overflow again. Anymore thoughts, I am going to get new fuel line, filter and vent lines.

Re: RM 125 Float level issue
Ok , touch wood it looks like I found the issue, when I changed all the tubing, fuel line and filter I re blew the carb out from both directions and out of the fuel inlet pipe and through the seat came a piece of rubber about 3mm in size. Looks like it had been floating around between the float needle and seat and the fuel filter.
