Rear shock swapperoo 90 kdx 200
Hey guys, I just got a 90 kdx 200, and I’m going over it replacing a few parts here and there. The other day I was attempting to rebuild rear shock and after I took it off I noticed the darn thing was bent. Any who I wanted to find out from the pros and the experimentalist if there was a different year or model shock that would fit my 90 kdx 200. As you all probably know some parts for these things are kinda hard to find. So if anyone knows of another shock that would fit that would be awesome.

1989 - 1994 KDX200 all have the same shock. I would just look on eBay and buy another one, then rebuild it.

+1 on Ebay searching...there is one on there now for about 100$ including shipping. Some folks have fit early model KX units, but they have to be shortened to work right. You may be able to find a replacement shock shaft, but a quick look at MX-Tech and Race-tech weren't too promising.

Here's my pick:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-KDX-2 ... ondition=4
I wouldn't get the cheaper 1989 one. It was ran for a good while with a leaking seal.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1989-Kawasaki- ... ondition=4
Also, due to the angle of the portion of the shock that goes to the reservoir, I would think it might not work to get a 1991 - 1994 KDX250 shock or a 1995+ shock.
