in deep snow, i doubt you'll have enough power to really have fun with a paddle.

I'm in eastern ontario, so we're about a 2 day drive apart! What a big province. I say try it, I'd love to see some vid of how it goes.

Last winter I tried ice screws in the front, and 1-1/4 inch carriage bolts out through the rear with washers and nylon locknuts. Neither worked well in heavy, wet snow. Both were ok in a light layer of dry snow. Both were great on ice.

The front end really pushes in the heavy, wet snow. If you get a paddle tire to hook up, I wouldn't trust the steering at speed. Unless you like to fall down.
This is my rifle, this is my gun, the YZ to go fast, the KDX is for fun!

I know this isn't a KDX, but here is a guy running a paddle in the snow... He does have more juice behind it though, a CR500 motor in a CR250 aluminum chassis.

Maybe one of those knobbys that is built almost like a paddle would work better and combat side skating issues.

Haven't tried either personally, but interesting all the same.
