Hi does any one know of a aluminium foot peg (read lighter) that will fit a 1999 to 2002 KX 125.
If there is another model that just needs a little trimming to fit I'm ok with that.
The reason is over time i will replace stuff for lighter stuff and the first thing that says heavy is the cheep aftermarket forged steel foot pegs.
Thanks
Tioli

You need to retire from the bike lightening game. It is very expensive.

Re: KX125 foot pegs made from aluminium
Cheaper and easier to lighten the rider
I am running IMS pegs on my 2001 KX125/KDX220 hybrid and like them a lot. wider than stock and lighter (though it doesn't offset my widening girth as I get older lol)

Re: KX125 foot pegs made from aluminium
I just went the opposite way. Just installed a set of pivot pegs. They are wide and heavy. I'll see how they work out. Rode an orange bike with them and liked the feel. My stock kx125 pegs were bent and thin on my hybrid, and they were steel btw.

Believe it or not but I made a set of pivot pegs and think I got all the features like about 20% tilt either way and spring loaded to self centre. For some reason the ideas sounded good but they sort of dident quite work for me. Now this could be a warning not to make a titanium Spring out of balsa wood and rubber bands
