if i send the carb and head to rb........how much would it help on bottom end? i want more power,grunt{like a 250}.......it runs great right now, but was wanting more......it just seems to be a little down on power for me. dont get me wrong, i love this bike, but i know it has more in it than what its giving.

My brother has a stock KDX200.... mine is modded with all the RB goodies... He says my bike is twitchy. It will power up anything quickly.

so i guess the carb and head will be off to rb soon! also, does rb jet the carb, or do you run a jet kit, like from jd? just wondering.........

He will jet it close for you... you will have to tweak it.

I am using the JD needles... using the Red right now and like it allot. It is allot like a DEK... I prefer smooth and linear... still spanks when you want it too.

Get a DEK and a CEK needle... DEK is smoother than a CEK. A CEK will wear you out....

the bike runs good right now, but the problem im having with it, is the bike pulls good from the bottom, but not great{low on power} and when it does come in{pipe} is just to zeppy............its like........booooo,booooooo, to booooo,boooooo, WYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
hope you know what i mean. ...........i am wanting more torqe{longer in the rpms} i quess. btw......i changed the front spocket to a 12t from a 13t and it help alot, now i can climb in 2nd and 3rd instead of 1st, so it keeps the rpms wher i want them a little better.

Get RB'd

cant i just cut 120 thousants off the head, and make more power?
or jb weld a dome on top of the piston to raise compression?
or put a 90 pilot to help bottom end?


just kidding! ........im going to get the rb mods done. im planning on taking it apart next week.........cant wait to get it done!!!!!!

i bought the fatty because i run alot of them in the past, and now, and seem to like them. thought about trying a gnarly on the kdx later tho.

He's referring to the removal of the disgusting picture that was posted in this thread, and the user that posted it. There's not much else to say.


You get that carb and head shipped out yet? My head has been out there and back. Slight but noticeable difference in power with the modded head. Well worth it for the price! I'm hoping to get my carb out there with my next check. I get a little extra for bein on call this week, so maybe I can finally swing it.....

Since I had both my head & carb done at once, & replaced leaking crankcase seals, & installed 607 reeds all at the same time, it's hard for me to guage what adds the most. But I can say that the total sum was more than just slightly noticeable in my case. Feels like a different motor now. Extremely responsive throttle & the bike just wants to go. I'm betting you'll be grinning after you get the carb RB'ed. But that's just my hunch.

its seems i done gone and pissed a certain person off real good. somehow i had a big target on my back faster that a pig eating corn! thats all i can{ want to} say about it. not trying to be a , but some stones are left unturned.
